Arrafund tracks purchases, attributes them to creators, calculates earnings, and supports withdrawals. As its founding engineer, I built the application from the ground up: the Rails architecture, customer-facing product, financial integrations, background processing, administrative tools, and production deployment.
Creator dashboard
A connected bank account, purchase monitoring, promises, and earning events in one view. Merchant names and amounts have been redacted.
What I built
Purchase and transaction processing
I integrated Plaid to ingest bank and card transactions, including additions, changes, and removals. I built the purchase records and processing that turn those external events into activity the application can evaluate and credit.
Commerce attribution
I built tracked purchasing links and Shopify order ingestion, connecting orders to creators and calculating commissions. Duplicate order notifications cannot credit the same purchase twice.
Creator wallet and withdrawals
I built the wallet around available and pending earnings, withdrawal requirements, bank-account setup, and recent activity. I integrated Wise for recipient creation and multi-currency transfer initiation.
Operational tooling
I built admin screens to inspect bank connections and transactions, review purchase claims, approve or reject them, and enable or pause withdrawals.
Production system
I designed the Rails application and PostgreSQL data model, used background jobs for asynchronous integration work, and deployed and operated the production system.
The operating side
I built the admin tools behind the product, from transaction and bank-connection review to receipt submissions, creator records, and campaign controls.
Customer-facing product
The public entry point explains how a request to a friend can become creator earnings.
Wallet and withdrawals
Creators can see what is available, what is pending, the rules for withdrawing, and how to connect a withdrawal account.
Built end to end
Arrafund wasn't an integration added to an existing product. I built the application itself: customer experience, data model, financial and commerce processing, administrative systems, background jobs, and production infrastructure.
